The name Indie comes from the idea of being an independent artist belonging to an independent record label the term was used to associate alternative rock. The music audience to indie music are small groups as indie music isn't suited for mainstream audiences due to the themes of the lyrics. The target audience consists of 16-24 year olds mainly 66% of fans are males and 34% are females.  Narrative and Iconography- The opening shot is of a pan shot of the sky then the opening line of the song is " I was scared of dentist and the dark" in that shot there is literal as there's a woman who has a dental brace in her mouth then it switches to a lightbulb swaying.
